description

The DVC-167 is recommended for use in Jewelry stores, by wholesale jewelry dealers, pawn shop owners, and collectors. Perfect for cleaning ALL types of jewelry and stones, rings, earrings, necklaces, watches, and more. Restores them to clean-as-new while eliminating ammonia, and other harsh ultrasonic cleaning chemicals!

The DVC-167 Dry Vapor Cleaner System was specifically designed as a powerful Jewelry cleaning system to provide the means to remove anything from a surface:  dirt, grease, grit, grime, chemicals, toxins, contaminants, and microorganisms – leaving the surface clean, dry, sanitized, and free from chemical residue. Our systems use only Distilled or Deionized water to provide chemical-free cleaning for your toughest cleaning jobs eliminating the need for any chemicals, toxins, and solvents.  Our systems also save water. Because Dry Vapor is only 4% water vapor there is no residual wastewater to dispose of.

The DVC-167 Provides 300ºF, 190 PSI for approximately 5-7 minutes, then requires a short 2-minute recharge.  It is foot-pedal actuated, which allows both hands to be free for manipulating items being cleaned. Jewelers across the nation have trusted DVC Dry Vapor Cleaner systems (and our older first-generation machines for decades).

What do professional jewelers use to clean jewelry? They use professional materials and tools. They also have the critical knowledge to preserve the original form of jewelry. As a result, a professional jeweler can make your precious stones look brand new. The standard old-school method of cleaning jewelry is a three-step process: 1. Ultrasonic soak, 2. Polish, and 3. The last step of professional jewelry cleaning is steam cleaning. When the entire piece of jewelry is cleaned, the jeweler typically washes it under a strong blast of steam to get rid of all the grime and dirt.

The DVC-167 is also excellent for countless varieties of Hobbyists and Collectors to restore items to original or like-new condition.

The DVC Dry Vapor Cleaner System uses only Distilled or Deionized water and eliminates the use of harsh chemicals, ultrasonic goop, and toxins. You simply use the DVC for the initial clean and the final (after polish) wash-up. The bonus is that, if the piece of jewelry being cleaned is not nicked and does not require polishing, the DVC System will allow you to clean a piece of jewelry in less than 30 seconds!

Unquestionably, the DVC-167 will help you clean more effectively but, it will also save you time, money and eliminate chemicals from your cleaning process!

Thank you for the DVC cleaner which we have used since 2015. During this time we have been able to see the benefits of the DVC when decontaminating difficult to clean surgical instruments as well as cleaning an autoclave. We find the DVC to be easy to use and it makes short work of items such as flexible reamers, laparoscopic instruments, and of course, our autoclave.
